Welcome

Welcome to the No.1 School of Technical Training 207 Craft Apprentice Entry website.

This site is still a work in progress and we urge all 207 Entry Apprentices and other former Halton Apprentices to actively participate and contribute to the content of the site.

There are a number of services on the site for you to use and explore and members can submit and share news, articles, photographs and archive documents as well as participate in forums to share the Entry's history as well as what life was like as a RAF Halton Apprentice.

We will keep you updated as the site develops, but for now please take the opportunity to register if you havent already.

We are happy for any of the Halton Apprentice Entry's to participate and join the site and seperate galleries, user groups and forums can be established to allow you to publish and share your information

Webmaster's Welcome

Dear 207 Entry and Guests,

Well, I have finally got around to writing this long overdue welcome to everyone who has registered and viewed the site so far. After a successful first week of the website's existence, it has come on well.

The remainder of this article (if you click "read more") goes into some details of what services are available on the site however, I would like to thank Mel for all his input and testing services which, in the case of the photo submission system, he tested quite literally to destruction!

Everything seems to be stable now and ready for use, so please take the time to click the "read more" link below and enjoy and contribute to the site.

UPDATE: 207 Entry E-mail addresses/Accounts are now available for 207 Entry members. If you would be interested in being issued one, please get in contact with me using the private message system. Accounts can be accessed via your normal e-mail application (e.g. Outlook) or through the Browser E-mail link in your profile menu.

Halton Apprentices Internet Gateway

Halton Apprentices Internet Gateway

As part of an experiment to develop web resource for 207 Entry as well as other Halton Apprentices, an experimental project has been devised to provide a "jumping-off" point for people looking for information about RAF Halton and the Apprentice Entries.

This project is in it's infancy as an intellectual exercise but the provisional home of the project is at: www.haltonapprentices.net

Welcome 223 Entry

We would like to welcome 207 Entry Website's first guest Entry in the form of the "Small but Deadly" 223 Entry.

Bob Rodham is the former 223 Entry Apprentice and webmaster of the very informative 223 Entry Website and has kindly offered his support and help with our site should we need it. His site is well worth a visit and can be accessed by the link in this news item or from the web links section.

We hope Bob brings a few more of his Entry's members into the 223 usergroup and they will be very welcome.

40th Anniversary Reunion

Following the mini reunion of Ron,Tony,Terry,Tom and Mel a tentative date is set for Saturday 9/8/2008.
This is exactly 40yrs to the day!

Also planned is a memorial window for the church which will be dedicated on the Sunday of the reunion w/end.
